The webpage provides access to air pollution monitoring data being collected within our community areas of interest. This includes data being collected by SC DHEC, the Charleston Research to Action Board (CCRAB), and the Medical University of South Carolina. Collectively, these data are used to support the Charleston Community Air Monitoring Network (CCAMN). The data presented here are for informational purposes only as they are intended to enhance community awareness to air quality.
The map below illustrates active air monitoring sites deployed by community scientists in our neighborhoods of interest. The panels below provide real-time air quality conditions at each site.
Currently, CCMAN operates long-term monitoring stations for the Union Heights and Accabee communities.
The map below illustrates active air monitoring sites used to generate EPA's Air Quality reporting on www.airnow.gov. The panel adjacent to the map provides current (a.k.a., real-time) air quality conditions and a daily forecast for the region.
